Delivery truck crashes and personal injury

Accidents involving delivery trucks can lead to serious personal injuries due to the size and weight of these vehicles.

Common Injuries

Victims will often experience a range of injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, broken bones, internal organ damage, whiplash, and severe burns.

Causes of Delivery Truck Accidents

These accidents can stem from several factors, such as driver fatigue, distracted or reckless driving, improper loading, poor vehicle maintenance, and inadequate driver training.

Determining Liability and Seeking Compensation

Establishing liability can be complex. It takes a full investigation to determine every factor that may have contributed to the crash.

The driver, the delivery company, vehicle manufacturers, or other drivers could face potential liability. Victims may be entitled to compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, property damage, pain and suffering, and potentially punitive damages.

Legal guidance is recommended to navigate the process and protect your rights. The experienced attorneys at the J. Gonzalez Law Firm have decades of knowledge on truck crashes and they will be on your side every step of the way to ensure you are compensated for any injuries caused by someone else’s negligence.

By: Benjamin Treviño

Two people are recovering from their injuries after being involved in a crash with a delivery truck.

The crash happened August 16 at around 8:30 a.m. near Inspiration Road and Business 83 in Mission.  According to Mission Fire Chief Mike Silva, a car hit the truck at the intersection, causing the truck to tip over on its side.

Two people were taken to Mission Regional Hospital with minor injuries. It was not immediately clear in which vehicle the victims were traveling. The crash was still under investigation at this writing.
